Moon Hooch
I heard these guys for the first time when I was living in NYC in 2010 waiting for the L train at the Bedford Ave stop. Instantly fell in love with their music, downloaded all their songs to date. Didn't really follow them on fb or anything, and randomly found out that they're coming down to Melbourne to play a gig at the Corner Hotel Feb 3rd!
BUT I can't make it! I'll be in Port Douglas! (Slowly dying inside..)
I highly recommend you see these guys, they're a whole lot of fun. $28 a ticket.
Weekender
Thank F it's Friday!
I've been so exhausted this whole week I'm looking forward to having a quiet one tonight and sleeping in.
On another note, I finally bought pattern paper today, so I'll be pattern making/sewing up a storm!

Portsea Polo
I've never been to the races let alone the polo (just never wanted to go I guess), but when a friend says she has a free ticket...well..how could I say no?
It was actually a lot of fun getting dressed up and wearing my Maison Michel hat that I've never worn before (purchased in early 2011)..I just don't get a chance to wear my hat! But this event was the perfect occasion.
To be honest I didn't get to see so much of the Polo match as I would've liked..I was too busy getting sneaked in to the Big Dog marquee (very bad!) Although I eventually got found and kicked out but it was fun while it lasted.

COACHELLA
GOT OUR TICKETS TO COACHELLA WEEKEND 1!!!!!
So excited you have no idea! Woke up at 5am Saturday to try and get tix, but they sold out within the hour of going on sale.
Was devastated BUT luckily there were ticket+hotel packages. Cost us an arm and a leg (literally) but SO worth it!
My excuse: I have no idea when I'll be going to the states again, this is one of the world's largest music festivals (this may or may not be true...) BUT how many people not living in the US can say that they've actually been to and experienced Coachella?
