Merry NY Christmas

I had my very first 'friends' Christmas this year.

It was fueled by great food, company, alcohol and an old school record player,  with the night ending at a bar drinking hot buttered rum and pretending to be part of a 7 piece Aussie band....
Got to love a NYC Christmas.


Christmas was hosted by my lovely friend Kaela in her gorgeous apartment.  Decoration, table set up, magnificent turkey roll..all Kaela!

Took 2 days off work last week to do a industrial IBO hand knitting course at Stoll.  Had the BEST time! 

I've been so interested in learning about knitting for so long/wanting to progress into knitwear down the road, so finally booked myself into a 2 day intensive knitting course.

I learned so much, coming from a background of zero knitwear knowledge, and all those swatches in the pictures above..I did them! 

I forgot how it felt to be so inspired and passionate about something.
