Not a client but a really great friend of mine.  I made her 21st Birthday dress as a present.
We both collaborated on the design to create a stunning dress for this huge occasion.  French lace flowers were individually hand cut and carefully hand sewn onto the dress.

Charlotte and I both collaborated on designing her perfect dream dress for her Yr 11 Formal.

At present, I'm also working on their future sister in law's wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses.  It's extremely exciting to be given an opportunity to create a beautiful dress for such an important occasion.  Keep your eyes peeled for those photos!

Remember this?

I'm pretty sure it was about 4 months ago when i posted the picture of the first toile of the jacket...

and now it's FINALLY FINISHED!

At the start I had my heart set on making two sets of this two-piece coat, one in back, and another in a bold electric blue to mix and match the colours.  But it's been so on and off, trying to fit in time to sew and seeing as I only finished one set after 4 months, it would've probably taken me a year to finish two...

Weekend inspo

I've been thinking..and I think I've figured out the point/purpose of this blog.  I want to share and show people that are not necessarily in the fashion industry, things that they wouldn't usually come across.  What it's like in my world, I guess.  As a designer I'm constantly skimming through endless fashion blogs, magazines, various websites gaining ideas and inspiration from the most beautiful to the most interesting and outrageous - photograph, colour combination, outfit choice, deign detailing etc.

Ok so I have to admit..I have a girl crush on Freja (WHO DOESN'T/WOULDN'T?!) and if asked 'who would you turn for?'..she would be in my top 3...just sayin.

Anywho..she's modeling the latest campaign for Mo&co. yup. Mo&co. not Max&co. MO&CO.  Can't say I've ever heard of the brand, but I already love it.
